Special thanks to Ms. Bennett’s 6th grade class

September 12th, 2011 by Amy Crook

I received a very kind email this morning from Ms. Jennifer Bennett at Vermont Kid Safety. She had used an old website of mine to find online forensics games that I consulted on with the Center for Technology in Teaching & Learning. These online learning environments were developed to be educational and entertaining for middle & high school students. She used the materials with her 6th graders, who were so enthused that they wanted to share a link about Criminology with me to add to my website.

I’m so pleased the students enjoyed the online games, and as my other site is not fully functional right now, I have added an “Online Learning Environments” section on the left hand side of my page. This section includes links to several games I consulted on during my time at CTTL, and it also includes the link to the Criminology website the students wanted to share with others.

It was great to hear from you, Ms. Bennett’s class!

This paper provides further validation of our single-response situational judgment test (Motowidlo, Crook, Kell, & Naemi, 2009) through two studies in different service industries. Thank you to all the co-contributors to the paper!
