Biography
I grew up in New Orleans, LA and Houston, TX. I spent 4 amazing years of college at Duke University in Durham, NC where I discovered my passion for psychology, particularly in the areas of learning and memory. I returned to Houston to attend Rice University for graduate school and have enjoyed applying psychology to the workplace in my research and consulting experiences.
My husband is completing his residency in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center, right across the street from Rice. We enjoy cheering on the Clemson Tigers during NCAA football season, the Duke Blue Devils during NCAA basketball season, and the Houston Astros during baseball season. Our mischievous cat Karma keeps us entertained when we’re not busy with academic related business.
